Rules and regulations

By accepting the room offer and signing the residential agreement you agree to follow the terms and conditions set by the Tartu Student Village.

Rules FAQ

  • The tenant has the right to receive guests between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. provided that this does not disturb fellow tenants. The tenant is liable for the actions of their visitors in the territory and residence halls of the Student Village.
  • The quiet hours in the residence halls last from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. During the quiet hours it is prohibited to do anything that may disturb the quiet hours of residents of the residence hall.
  • Smoking (incl. hookahs, e-cigarettes, vapes) in the residential room, hallways, stairwells and lounge of the residence hall is forbidden!
  • Consuming narcotic or toxic substances and moving about while under the influence of narcotic or toxic substances is forbidden!
  • Consuming alcohol on the territory of the Student Village and common rooms of the residence halls and moving about under the influence of alcohol is forbidden!
  • Keeping animals in the residential halls is forbidden!
  • It is forbidden to damage the walls, ceiling and floors. This often happens when tenants wish to hang furniture or decorations.
